About Gulden Belofte
Gulden Belofte (Golden Promise) is a two-masted Zeeland clipper, and is also suitable for multi-day trips. She feels like an old-fashioned ship, but with a light and luxurious interior. The layout of the ship provides lots of privacy in both the dayroom and the cabins. This appeals to many businesses, who choose the Gulden Belofte for their teambuilding activities. The comfort and luxury on this clipper put a golden edge on sailing with her; you can also recognize her from afar because of her “golden” sails.
Luxurious and comfortable sailing
In 2006 Bertil Vermeulen turned this Zeeland clipper into a sailing and luxury hotel, with optimal comfort and all modern facilities. De clipper offers six double and two 4-person cabins. There are four showers and four toilets, accessible from the cabins.
The day room provides optimal space to get together with the entire group. Groups can make use of the professional kitchen themselves, but Bertil is an enthusiastic cook who also likes to take the cooking off your hands. The cosy bar with beer tap provides extra atmosphere on board. On deck, the seating area offers plenty of room to the guests to sit together and enjoy the view. There are beanbags for lounging, but the ultimate lounging experience can be had with a spot in the jib-net.

Bertil has a background in technical management and business optimization, giving him a lot of experience in supervising, coaching and stimulating employees.
