Sleeping on the water

Whether you’re traveling with family, friends or colleagues, a special atmosphere is part of the trip on board a sailing ship of the Monnickendam Sailing fleet. In the evening you are welcomed on board with a drink and a snack, after which the ship will sail to a quiet spot on the Gouwzee. The crew serves a delicious barbecue, and afterwards you enjoy the sunset while sipping a drink, as the boat returns to the dock for a relaxing night’s sleep.

Well rested for a day’s sailing

After a hearty breakfast we set sail for a wonderful sailing trip. You can dock for lunch, for example in Marken, Volendam or Hoorn, where you can also stretch your legs. Drinks and bites are served in the afternoon, and in the evening we return to Monnickendam. Of course, an overnight stay is also possible to finish a wonderful sailing trip.
