The two-master Vrouwe (Lady) Frida Cornelia is a spacious, bright klipperaak with a modern interior. Guests feel right at home quickly, which is what it’s all about for skippers Jos and Marjolein van der Heide; making sure you have a relaxed well-organised day on the water. The low deckhouse and the wide entrance from the hold make the Vrouwe Frida Cornelia an easily surveyable ship, with a lot of contact between the inside and outside.
After the purchase of the ship, in 2003, this klipperaak needed a lot of work, but shipwright Jos has lovingly restored and transformed her into a beautiful, authentic and homely ship for day trips, with modern comforts in a unique atmosphere. For more than a decade they have been organising sailing trips from Monnickendam with their Vrouwe Frida Cornelia; they are also the proud residents of this beautiful ship.
The skippers have chosen this ship wholeheartedly. As a carpenter, Jos is always working on innovations. Marjolein, with her Hotel Management background, likes nothing more than to spoil the guests with culinary delights. From the well-equipped kitchen with Boretti stove and Miele steam oven, she conjures up the most delicious, homemade food. Their mission is to really pamper their guests, with a relaxing sailing trip combined with sophisticated and surprising cuisine. The flexibility and hospitality of the skippers ensures that you will want for nothing during your day out.
