This sailing package includes several components:

Morning programme

Early in the morning, the crew welcome you on board with coffee, tea and traditional Dutch apple pie. The sails are hoisted for an adventurous trip that takes us past places like Volendam and the scenic “‘t Paard van Marken” (the Marken Horse) lighthouse.

Afternoon programme

After lunch, we arrive at the fortress island Pampus, where a guide will lead you through the casemates and other rooms of the fortress. You will hear all about the history of Pampus and its construction as part of the Amsterdam Defence Line. On the way back, there is time to relax and enjoy the waves with a drink and a snack. By the end of the afternoon we moor in Monnickendam again.

More culture?

Would you prefer a destination with more culture? A sailing trip and visit to Hoorn’s 17th century city centre is also possible.

Extension

This package can also be extended with a dinner or barbecue on board. For this, the skipper can drop anchor in a sheltered spot.
